Ok listen up....Some spammers have been on my page telling me Im cocky and think Im the best artist on the site. Im sick of defending myself to each post so Im going to say this now to clear it up for everyone at once I dont think and I NEVER said that I was the best artist ever!! There are some artists on here who are twice as good as me.... I KNOW THAT.. I condiser myself to be very good but not the very best. When I said I was better then most people here you have to know that many people on here dont even post art ( they only do junk like photos and poetry) and a lot of people on here are just here to spam epople.. but I am NOT the best artist on deviant art. Here are some of the bests artists out there today
most of the BEST artists on here do draw Sonic better then I can right now but I know if I keep working hard I WILL be that good! the Sonic art on here makes up most of the sites best art and I want to be part of it
Sonic art is not easy to master and while Im very proud of my work I know I still have a ways to go! 
one more thing is Im getting a scanner soon (FINALLY!!) and am going to be trying to sell stuff. A lot of artists do work for money and I know I should to so heres what the prices will probably be...

And poetry, that's a different story. Some poets just slap some words together and call it art, and it really isn't. I've got a couple friends with some really beautiful poems, ones that they took time to create.
But oh, well. To each their own. If you have a penchant for Sonic art, I'm not saying I can sway your opinion. I just don't support the idea of bashing others who believe that Photography and Poetry truly are 'art'.

Your right - if you do keep at it you WILL elevate to a high standard - and where I think your wrong on the comment about poetry and photography I also think you've limited yourself to some other artists out there who dont do Sonic Art.

There are litterally thousands of aritsts on this site who dont get the attention they deserve for the beautiful work they produce.
But reagardless, it's good to see that you can accept there is room for improvement and know that you have an attainable goal at the end of it all.

I'll put it like this, you have to learn how to get lighting right, get the right cameras and know how to work and fix them, etc, etc.
And poetry, like it or not, is a form of art as well.

I seriously think no one will ask for a commision. IMO, you're not ready for that kind of pressure. It's for the big leagues, and frankly, you're FAR from that.
Like the above poster said, there ARE fantastic artists out there that don't do Sonic artwork, ie. Bleedman. Yes, the Sonic community is large, but there are other forms of artwork.
Oh, and to wrap this up, you did say you were in the " Top ten percent of dA ". Deal with it. </3

and I know there are some good non-sonic artists here but I just think the sonic art here is some of the best artwork Ive seen.
and I know I said I was in the top ten percent and that was probably pushing it but thats my honest thoughts and doesnt mean Im cocky or the best here. Get over it and stop posting on my page if you disagre with me and just practice your own art..
